Letting Go Through Clay with Jelina Tunstill
Sometimes, we find our way back to joy in the most unexpected places—like a lump of clay.
In this episode, I sit down with Jelina Tunstill, (@jsktpottery), a remote program coordinator for a nonprofit whose background in psychology and counseling gave her all the tools to help others—but pottery helped her reconnect with herself.

After years of staying busy and constantly on the move, Jelina discovered ceramics in 2022. What began as curiosity quickly became a sacred practice—a space to slow down, get messy, and release the pressure of perfection. Through her hands and the wheel, she found softness, stillness, and joy.
Jelina’s story is one so many of us can relate to: putting our heads down to get the work done, only to wake up and realize we’ve lost our connection to what fills us up. Her return to creativity is a reminder that it’s never too late to rediscover what lights you up—and that art can be a healing tool even when life feels full.
This conversation is calm, honest, and full of wisdom about the art of letting go, being present, and making space for yourself.
